As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal - 2 Cor 4:19
When Jesus told the Pharisees that the Kingdom of God was in their midst (Luke 17:21), He was not implying that the Kingdom could be discovered with our physical senses. Christ makes it clear that this world will pass away (Matt 24:35), but that His Words (logoi in the Greek) will not. The Word of Christ is where eternal hope and life is found.
The Logos of God permeates our entire world but is unseen by man. It cannot be found in outer appearances. Accepting this Logos into your heart brings about the ‘peace that transcends understanding’ (Phil 4:7).
This peace is not dependent upon appearances, circumstances, or results of any kind. It is solely the result of the Grace of God who gave His Son so as to bridge the infinite gap between us and the Divine.
The Good News is that this peace is available to every man woman and child on the face of the earth. There are no prerequisites. All each of us must do is ask and be willing to receive, for “Everyone who asks receives, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” (Matt 7:8)
Give ear to my prayer, O God, And hide not yourself from my plea from mercy - Psalm 55:1
